The Whole Human Approach to Supporting the Unique Needs of Neurodivergent Individuals.

Our Core Values

Sovereignty

We believe that true healing begins when you reclaim your agency. Sovereignty is about more than just independence; it is the freedom to exist on your own terms, make self-determined choices, and live a life that isn't dictated by societal "shoulds" or burnout. In our work together, your voice is the ultimate authority.

Neuro-Affirming Care

Your brain is not a problem to be fixed. I operate from the belief that neurodivergence—including Autism, ADHD, and other cognitive variations—is a natural and valuable part of the human experience. We focus on understanding your unique wiring, honoring your sensory needs, and building strategies that work with your brain, not against it.

Skill & Self

Meaningful change requires both the tools to navigate the world and the self-compassion to live in it. We balance Skill—evidence-based strategies and behavioral insights—with Self—the deep, internal work of self-discovery and emotional regulation. We don't just talk about change; we build the capacity to sustain it.

Authenticity

Therapy shouldn't feel like a performance. I trade clinical "mumbo-jumbo" for real, honest conversation. By showing up as a human first and a therapist second, I create a space where you can let down the mask, speak your truth, and explore who you are without the fear of being pathologized or judged.

Our Clinical Philosophy

The Self & Skill Method:

At Self & Skill, we believe that mental health support for neurodivergent individuals must begin with a fundamental shift in perspective: You are not a problem to be solved; you are a person to be supported.

Our philosophy is built on the integration of two essential pillars:

·       The Self: We prioritize your internal experience—your sensory world, your emotional landscape, and your history. Through a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming lens, we work together to strip away the weight of "masking" and social compliance. We focus on nervous system regulation and self-compassion, providing a space where your authentic self is safe to emerge.

·       The Skill: We recognize that navigating a world not built for neurodivergence requires a unique set of tools. However, we don't build skills for the sake of "fitting in." We develop functional, self-determined skills—like executive function strategies, boundaries, and self-advocacy—that serve your goals and enhance your quality of life.

By balancing clinical psychotherapy with a deep understanding of neurobiological needs, we help you bridge the gap between who you are and how you move through the world. We don't just help you "do" better; we help you be better, on your own terms
